1. “Do you remember anything from your childhood?”
“Vaguely. Childhood memories and Neverland don’t exactly go hand in hand. It’s like trying to remember a dream when you’ve just woken up—blurry, distant, slipping through your fingers no matter how hard you grasp. But I do remember this: my mother told me once that I was born with a hero’s heart. I think she hoped I’d be a doctor, or a soldier, or some saintly kind of man. Not exactly what I turned out to be, eh? I doubt she meant I’d spend my days fighting pirates and rescuing Lost Boys. But maybe I didn’t let her down entirely.”
2. “How did you end up in Neverland?”
“Fate. Luck. A bad habit of sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong. Take your pick. I was… called, let’s say.“
“By who?”
“Let’s just say Neverland has a way of calling to those who need it most, even if they don’t know it yet. And when I arrived, I thought I’d found paradise—a place where I could fight, protect, be someone, without the world trying to clip my wings. At the time, I didn’t realize how much Pan needed me, or how much I needed him and the brothers… the family that came with him. ”
3. “If you were still on Earth, what do you think your profession would be?”
“A bodyguard.”
“A bodyguard?”
“Don’t look so shocked. I’ve got the skill set, don’t I? I’m good with swords, better with fists, and excellent at keeping idiots out of trouble. Plus, I’ve got this… protective streak. I could make a fortune shadowing some royal or rich heiress and making sure she doesn’t trip over her designer heels.”
“You’d really settle for that?”
“If you’re asking if I’d enjoy it… nah. I’d miss the flying. But in your world, everyone needs saving in one way or another. I’d find my place.”
4. “What’s your favorite color?”
“White. And don’t give me that look—I know what you’re thinking. Pure, chivalrous, boring, right? Wrong. White is a clean slate. The color of beginnings, redemption, and, in my case, a damn fine tunic… which, I might add, makes perfect swimming attire for my wife. It’s also the last thing you’ll see if you ever lay a hand on someone I care about. Don’t let the chivalry fool you—knights don’t wear white because they’re soft. They wear it so you can see the blood.”
5. “What’s your favorite food?”
“Anything roasted over an open fire after a long day’s fight. Meat, bread, it doesn’t matter. I’m not one for a fancy feast. Hot food and good company sounds like the perfect meal to me.”
6. “Coffee or Tea?”
“Tea. Strong, black, no sugar. I’ve no patience for anything fussy. Besides, tea is like me: straightforward, dependable, and exactly what you need when the world starts falling apart.”
7. “Who’s your favorite Lost Boy?”
“Don’t ask me to pick favorites. They’re all mine, and they’re all trouble. Some more than others. But if I had to choose? Ryder. Funny, scrappy, brave beyond his years and a heart of gold. Reminds me a bit of myself—which is probably why I’m constantly dragging him out of danger and lecturing him about reckless decisions.”
8. “And your least favorite Lost Boy?”
“I don’t have one. They are all my brothers, even when I’m threatening to strangle them. Sometimes I want to kill Pan when he gets something stupid stuck in his head and won’t listen to reason, but I guess that’s what led me to Gwen, so I can’t really complain. Love between family runs deep.”
9. “What’s something you’re passionate about?”
“Justice. I’m not talking about laws written by men who’ve never swung a sword or been to war. I mean real justice. Protecting what’s mine. Punishing anyone who would dare to hurt her.”
10. “Do you have a favorite sexual position?”
“You lot are shameless, you know that? But I’ll play along. I’m a man who takes his responsibilities seriously, so I like to be on top—where I can make sure my wife’s well taken care of. But at the end of the day, it’s less about position and more about trust, isn’t it? Surrender is sacred. So is protecting what’s given to you.”
11. “How about a favorite kink?”
“Damn, you have no boundaries at all.”
“Tripp, are you actually blushing?”
“I’m not like Ryder, I don’t spill my guts the moment someone shows an interest. But if you must know… being watched.”
“Really? I never would have guessed you’re an exhibitionist.”
“There is something about the others watching me claim what’s mine.”
12. What was it about Gwen that you were initially attracted to and why?
“Her fire. She’s got a will of iron and a heart that could bring even a man like me to his knees. From the first moment I saw her, I knew she was the kind of woman who could look danger in the eye and refuse to back down. And yet, there’s a softness about her, too—a quiet kindness. The world hasn’t broken her, no matter how hard it tried. That’s rare. And it’s worth fighting for.”
13. “Have you ever experienced heartbreak before?”
“Heartache was dying under the Temple Mount and knowing that I wanted Gwen to live a long and happy life without me. The idea of being separated from your soul mate is the most heart-breaking thing. But lucky for me, my angel brought me back and saved me from a long wait in purgatory without her.”
14. “Was there a reason why you hesitated getting close to Gwen in the beginning?”
“Of course. I’ve seen what happens when you care too much in a place like Neverland. Love makes you vulnerable, and vulnerability gets people hurt. I wasn’t afraid of loving her—I was afraid of failing her. A real man doesn’t enter a battlefield unless he’s ready to win. But she? She didn’t give me a choice. She walked right into my heart like it was hers all along, and I knew I’d burn the whole damn world down to keep her safe.”
“Thank you, Tripp, for taking the time to answer all of our prying questions. I know all of the fans will enjoy finding out more about you. Do you foresee any more stories to be written about you and Gwen?”
“There are always more stories. Neverland doesn’t stop for anyone. And neither do I.”
